Summary
Mirogabalin is approved in Japan and several Asian countries for diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain and postherpetic neuralgia. It has higher binding affinity and slower dissociation from Ξ±2Ξ΄-1 subunits compared to pregabalin, potentially offering improved analgesic effects with fewer CNS side effects. Dose adjustments are necessary for renal impairment: 50% reduction for moderate impairment (CrCl 30-60 mL/min) and 75% reduction for severe impairment.
Dose Information
Dose basis. Ranges synthesized from clinical dosing in trials and class comparisons; non-medical use carries added risk. Start at the lowest end, especially if combining with other sedatives or if renal function is reduced. User reports are sparse; avoid redosing within 12 hours to limit cumulative sedation. (Dose figures and this note are from Drugs.Wiki.)

Tolerance
No tolerance chart. Our decay curves for these drugs were estimates, and a curve can make tolerance look longer-lasting than it is, which is the dangerous direction.
How fast tolerance to these drugs fades after a break has not been measured well enough to draw, so don't count on a dose you used to take still being safe: after time off, start with a much smaller amount and don't use alone. Mixing sedatives with each other, with alcohol or with opioids sharply raises the risk of a fatal overdose. If you've been using regularly, don't stop suddenly: withdrawal from benzodiazepines, alcohol or GHB/GBL can cause seizures or delirium, so get medical help to cut down gradually.

Add to PsychonautWiki Journal
The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track Mirogabalin there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:
Mirogabalin Source: SubstanceSearch (substancesearch.com) Oral dose (mg): light 5-10 Β· common 10-30 (5-10 BID) Β· strong 30-40 Β· heavy 40-50+ Oral duration: onset 0.5-1h Β· come-up 1-2h Β· peak 2-4h Β· offset 3-6h Β· total 6.5-13h Note: ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription. Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 20 mg (Oral).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
