    Summary dose.wiki TripSit PsychonautWiki

DOC is an extremely potent and long-lasting psychedelic amphetamine with a steep dose-response curve. Active at sub-milligram doses with effects lasting 14-20 hours, it poses significant risks of overdose and prolonged difficult experiences. Commonly misrepresented as LSD on blotter paper.

    Perspectives

“I am grateful that I got to experience this, grateful for the humor and grateful for the intensity and testing the limits of my endurance. DOC for me at this dose was immense, intense and domineering.”

“I was hit with a slightly light head; the effects were quite real. I was disconnected, and somehow spacey, but this was a favorable spacey which was kind of fun. Somewhere at about the sixth hour I realized that I was beginning to drop off a bit, but six hours later yet, there was still a lot of memory. This is a long thing.”

    Tolerance Decay

Full tolerance 1d Half tolerance 7d Baseline ~14d

Tolerance to DOC (and classic psychedelics) rises sharply after an experience and then decays over about 1–2 weeks; model and ratios are heuristic, inferred from user reports, not measured pharmacology.

    Effects Erowid Bluelight

Aggregated from 43 single-substance Erowid and 65 Bluelight experience reports (the Bluelight figures come from the 50 of them read for effects); 40 Erowid reports where another drug was taken too are left out

Each bar shows the share of analyzed reports whose text mentions that effect — a mention is not always a first-hand experience (fear of an effect or something witnessed can count). Mentions saying the effect did not happen are left out; that check reads keywords, so it can miss some. The shaded band on a bar, and the small range after its number, is the 95% interval: where the share could plausibly be with other reports of the same kind. Fewer reports, wider band. Tap or hover any number for details. The second value is the Bluelight extractor's per-effect confidence; a dash means the row is Erowid-derived, which has no confidence measurement.

Also reported in combinations. In the 40 DOC reports where another drug was taken too, 6 (15.0%) mention hospital, emergency services or an overdose, 4 (10.0%) a seizure and 4 (10.0%) psychosis. In the 43 single-substance reports: 16.3%, 0.0% and 9.3%. These are not in the figures above: they cannot be put down to DOC alone, and a mention is not always something that happened to the writer.

My experiences with psychedelics began at 17, with LSA, mushrooms and then eventually LSD-25. By 2009, the genuine LSD-25 had all but vanished from my city, and blotter acid began to shift into the focus of grey-market psychedelic phenethylamines.

I decided I would take 1.5mg of DOC -- which in my experience is visually equivilant to about 80ug - 100ug of LSD. Except the visuals are different than with LSD.
