Summary
DXM polistirex is an extended-release formulation where dextromethorphan is bound to a sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer complex (an edible plastic), resulting in significantly slower absorption and prolonged effects compared to DXM HBr. Duration can extend 12-24 hours with residual effects lasting up to 48 hours. The extended-release mechanism increases the ratio of unconverted DXM to dextrorphan (DXO) in the bloodstream, producing more physical/sedating effects and less intense psychedelic/dissociative effects compared to immediate-release DXM HBr.

DXM Plateau Calculator
DXM dosing is weight-based β the same dose can produce very different effects depending on your body weight. DXM experiences are categorised into four distinct plateaus, each with progressively more intense dissociative effects.
1st Plateau (1.5 β 2.5 mg/kg)
Mild stimulation, music enhancement, and a light mood lift. Often compared to a mild alcohol buzz with added euphoria. Most social of the plateaus.
2nd Plateau (2.5 β 7.5 mg/kg)
Euphoria, closed-eye visuals, and noticeable dissociation. Impaired motor coordination, slurred speech. Similar to being cross-faded. The most commonly explored plateau.
3rd Plateau (7.5 β 15 mg/kg)
Strong dissociation, altered perception of time and gravity, flanging of vision and sound, intense closed-eye hallucinations. Motor control is significantly impaired β you should remain seated or lying down.
4th Plateau (15 β 20 mg/kg)
Full dissociation comparable to a high-dose ketamine "hole". Complete out-of-body experiences, loss of contact with external reality. Dangerous β risk of unconsciousness, respiratory depression, and medical emergency.

For starters- DXM or Dextromethorphine is a cough suppressant used in off-the-counter cough syrup, or tablets. At higher doses it becomes a psychedelic. There are 4 plateaus depending on how much you consume.
I was feeling very bored and figured to finally do DXM again. I did 590mg in total and it was a pretty good trip. I decided It would be to to sit inside so I ended up taking a walk on the come-up, around half way through the walk the pavement started looking wobbly and I thought...

I have a lot of experience with DXM and enjoy it a lot. This is my most profound experience to date. WARNING: While this trip was amazing and fun, it could easily have been disastrous. At a dose this high, it is probably not a good idea to go out in public.
I had my first experience with DXM about 2 weeks previous to the one I'm writing about here, after seeing the substance for sale on a RC site I use alot, in pure powder form.I liked what I read about it, there were so many positive accounts with the user/s ending the report saying they really liked or loved DXM.
My most recent and pleasant experience with DXM occurred last night. But first I will give you some background on my previous DXM experiences. In the past I have taken 100ml of Robitussin DX (300mg DXM) three times, and 200ml Robitussin DX (600mg DXM) once. The 100ml sessions were average.
These experiences are very personal and I ask that all readers should delay judgment. DXM has played an important part in my development and I feel the need to testify my experience. I can not over look the fact that my use has caused me to have some pretty strange ideas that are not popular with my peers.
IΒve been using DXM for six years now, and itΒs still my favorite drug. MDMA/AMT is a close second, but nothing tops the strange euphoria of a tussin trip. I started popping DXM pills back in 1996, when Drixoral still sold the red liqui-caps.
