    Summary dose.wiki TripSit PsychonautWiki

Diphenidine (DPD) is a dissociative diarylethylamine research chemical. It is active at the NMDA receptor, where its (S)-enantiomer is approximately 40 times more potent than the (R)-enantiomer, though street material is racemic. Effective oral doses typically range 50-100 mg, while sensitive individuals report psychoactivity from 10 mg and dissociative holes above 150 mg. Vaporizing requires approximately 20% of an oral dose but increases lung irritation and overdose risk.

    Perspectives

“Diphenidine is gazed upon with an eye of suspicion and fear in much of the drug community, or at the very best is seen as a more lacking version of its cousin, Ephenidine. A poor man’s ephenidine.”

“Playing exclusively in the shallow end, this was a good introduction to the world of dissociatives.”

    Effects Erowid Bluelight

Aggregated from 11 single-substance Erowid and 7 Bluelight experience reports; 3 Erowid reports where another drug was taken too are left out

Each bar shows the share of analyzed reports whose text mentions that effect — a mention is not always a first-hand experience (fear of an effect or something witnessed can count). Mentions saying the effect did not happen are left out; that check reads keywords, so it can miss some. The shaded band on a bar, and the small range after its number, is the 95% interval: where the share could plausibly be with other reports of the same kind. Fewer reports, wider band. Tap or hover any number for details. The second value is the Bluelight extractor's per-effect confidence; a dash means the row is Erowid-derived, which has no confidence measurement.

Too few reports for bars: these effects come from 11 single-substance Erowid and 7 Bluelight reports, and a bar is drawn only from 20 reports or more. With fewer, a percentage cannot tell a common effect from a rare one. Counts are shown instead. Why 20?

Also reported in combinations. In the 3 Diphenidine reports where another drug was taken too, 1 mentions hospital, emergency services or an overdose, 0 a seizure and 1 psychosis (too few reports for percentages). In the 11 single-substance reports: 1, 0 and 0. These are not in the figures above: they cannot be put down to Diphenidine alone, and a mention is not always something that happened to the writer.

Last night at exactly 23:52 I took 60mg of Diphenidine orally. This was my first dissociative experience except for nitrous, but it's atypical so I'm not counting it. This first part is what I wrote down while under the influence. Second will be written right now, retrospective and sober.

Diphenidine/ DPD, IUPAC Name: '1-(1,2-Diphenylethyl)piperidine'. Tried on many occasions/ contexts. Fairly uniform results. Pleasant stimulant. Moderate euphoria. Mild dissociation. Some empathy. Tendency to space out/ zone into things, e.g. films or music. Mood swings/ some crying/ weird moments.

A Bizarre Night neutral exp #112710

While I've tried a number of dissociativates, I'm not a habitual or particularly experienced user. I wasn't able to find the exact dissociative I was looking for (o-pce), so I wound up buying diphenidine since it seemed popular with people online. After I got prepaired for bed, I weighed out 75mg and took it orally.

A Subtle Reality cautionary exp #112780

A month ago I received a 10 gram order of one of the original dissociative analgesics: diphenidine. My experience with this class of drugs extends to ketamine, MXP, nitrous oxide, DXM, and GHB. In recent months, I have been using nitrous oxide more excessively than I'd like to admit.

All at Once, Big Mistake cautionary exp #103307

Diphenidine WARNING (orally vs. internasal) I tried Diphenidine as a substitute for Ketamine. After hammering mountains of K over the years my tolerance had grown so much that it was costing me a bomb and I wasn't really getting much from it.

Diphenidine First Four Trials Very Promising positive

(Diphenedine) My first four trials. This is rather lengthy, but I felt I had to report as much as possible because of its novelty. Enjoy the read. First trial: 18:10 – I just took a tiny bit as an allergy test, and now I'm gonna wait half an hour to see if it's clean. No other drug use today but cannabis.

Diphenidine Floating In A Pleasantly Soft Liquid positive

Diphenidine or 1,2-diphenylethylpiperidine Floating in a pleasantly soft liquid 21:45 - 107 mg Diphenidine powder gel-capped. I just ate like 20 minutes ago, so my stomach is pretty full. I'm a little afraid that nothing's gonna happen with this dose, as I like fasting / doing drugs orally on an empty stomach.
