This was my second time on 4-AcO-DET and only a few days since my last trip. Last time I noticed a strong spiritual component to the drug which I wasn't really prepared to make use of. This time, I decided that I would get the most of that. A couple hours before I took it, I spent some time doing some magic.
I have taken 4-AcO-DET twice now. Both times were quite a contrasting experience. The first time I decided to ingest a 7.5 mg dose to get a feeling for the substance, the second time I decided to jump up to 15 mg. The feeling experience is one a exuberance and grandeur. I find to be almost sexual in nature.
February 7th, 2003 This week my roommate left the country for a family emergency, so my partner and I figured we should take advantage of the empty house to evaluate a very rare and obscure psychedelic I recently managed to acquire.
When I first began to investigate psychedelic research chemicals, I rather quickly filed away 4-HO-DET and its acetate ester into a lesser category of drugs, perhaps something of interest only to the most dedicated psychonauts or molecule collectors.
I was in a good mood, and I haven't tried to connect with psychedelics for about eight months, nor have I done anything at all in five months. I feel very convinced that I got a strong psyche, and that I was well prepared of entering the psychedelic world again.
Background: I've done a number of other psychedelics -- LSD, shrooms, 5-MEO-DIPT (foxy), 5-MEO-DMT, 2-CT-7, ketamine as well as most other recreational drugs. I am female, weigh about 115 lbs, and have a fast metabolism. This was my first time trying 4-AcO-DET.
My bottle of 4-aco-DET is almost gone. All the stuff is on the walls of the bottle and stuck to the bottom. It looks yellow. So I said fuck it. I used water to wash it out and I dumped it in orange juice. And as I am about to do what I just typed above I will be back when I am tripping. Lets see what happens.

I really like this substance! I'll have to try it more to develop a nuanced opinion of it. However, I have 250mg of it so going forward I intend to try increasingly high dosages while documenting its effects.
I'm feeling incredibly euphoric afterwards and am left with great impressions. I'm really looking forward to higher dose trips on this drug in the future.
Nothing particularly remarkable happened during this trip, but I have found 4-AcO-DET to be one of my favourite tryptamines so far. I intend to take 60mg next time I trip and I suspect that will result in sub ego-death level effects.
