    Summary dose.wiki TripSit PsychonautWiki

Phenobarbital is a long-acting barbiturate with extremely slow elimination and a narrow therapeutic window. It binds to a distinct allosteric site on GABA-A receptors separate from benzodiazepines, making combinations particularly dangerous as effects potentiate multiplicatively. Tolerance develops rapidly but not to lethal doses, narrowing the safety margin.

    Tolerance

Build-up develops over 1–4 weeks of daily use; hypnotic tolerance faster than anxiolytic tolerance
Reset Falls after you stop, at a rate that varies from person to person. If you've been using regularly, cut down gradually with medical help rather than stopping suddenly.

No tolerance chart. Our decay curves for these drugs were estimates, and a curve can make tolerance look longer-lasting than it is, which is the dangerous direction.

How fast tolerance to these drugs fades after a break has not been measured well enough to draw, so don't count on a dose you used to take still being safe: after time off, start with a much smaller amount and don't use alone. Mixing sedatives with each other, with alcohol or with opioids sharply raises the risk of a fatal overdose. If you've been using regularly, don't stop suddenly: withdrawal from benzodiazepines, alcohol or GHB/GBL can cause seizures or delirium, so get medical help to cut down gradually. With barbiturates, you get used to the effects much more than to a dangerous dose, so the gap between a dose that works and one that kills shrinks the more you use. Stopping suddenly after regular use can cause convulsions and delirium.

256 mg of phenobarbital taken with water on empty stomach (5rs out from a light meal) (3 x 64 mg pills) & (2 x 32 mg pills) I made sure to wait for the effects to start setting in before I cooked and ate a small cheese pizza, so as to ensure the drug made its way into the system unimpeded.

My son woke up to a seizure five days ago. Although febrile seizures typically last only five or so minutes, his lasted possibly over an hour. At the hospital he received a rectal injection of Ativan (dosage unknown) which failed to stop the seizure which then prompted a 'loading dose' of phenobarbital (dosage unknown)...

I'd like to just my experiences with a certain drug called Phenobarbital. I'm a sixteen year old with an extensive trip history over the past year or so (marijuana, acid, psilocybes, amanitas, dimenhydrinate), but when I tried the drug I was an inexperienced fifteen year-old.
