Effects
Aggregated from 5 single-substance Erowid experience reports; 4 Erowid reports where another drug was taken too are left out
Each bar shows the share of analyzed reports whose text mentions that effect — a mention is not always a first-hand experience (fear of an effect or something witnessed can count). Mentions saying the effect did not happen are left out; that check reads keywords, so it can miss some. The shaded band on a bar, and the small range after its number, is the 95% interval: where the share could plausibly be with other reports of the same kind. Fewer reports, wider band. Tap or hover any number for details. The second value is the Bluelight extractor's per-effect confidence; a dash means the row is Erowid-derived, which has no confidence measurement.
Too few reports for bars: these effects come from 5 single-substance Erowid reports, and a bar is drawn only from 20 reports or more. With fewer, a percentage cannot tell a common effect from a rare one. Counts are shown instead. Why 20?

Also reported in combinations. In the 4 Haloperidol reports where another drug was taken too, 4 mention hospital, emergency services or an overdose, 0 a seizure and 1 psychosis (too few reports for percentages). In the 5 single-substance reports: 0, 1 and 1. These are not in the figures above: they cannot be put down to Haloperidol alone, and a mention is not always something that happened to the writer.

I was in the Peace Corps in 2001 and had experienced several psychoactive drugs previous to my leaving for overseas. As a healthcare volunteer I had ready access to the nurses pharmaceuticals.
I am using this for bipolar disorder. My normal medication Trileptal was no longer working. I just wanted to kill myself everyday. I was extremely suicidal. I was very angry at inanimate objects. I tried several other mood stabilizers before being put into a new classification of medication.
This experience was undertaken because I have fairly bad insomnia from time to time, and was out of Kava-Kava capsules, which normally put me out fairly fast and allow nice, normal sleep.
Haloperidol (DO NOT TAKE) Haldol Do not take this at all!! This an anti psychotic medication and is not for recreational use in any way. The warning say it may cause drowsiness or muscle relaxation, but if either are true they are short-lived and negligible, unlike the powerful "Parkinson's-like symptoms" I am currentl...

Import into PsychonautWiki Journal
The PsychonautWiki Journal app includes Haloperidol, but its built-in data can be thinner than ours. Importing this file adds a separate "Haloperidol (Substance Search)" custom substance with our dose ranges, durations and tolerance, so you can log against whichever you prefer.
Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
