    Tolerance

Build-up develops within days of regular use; analgesic tolerance faster than respiratory depression tolerance
Reset Falls quickly once you stop, at a rate you can't judge. After any break, treat your tolerance as gone.

No tolerance chart. Our decay curves for opioids were estimates, and a curve can make tolerance look longer-lasting than it is, which is the dangerous direction.

Opioid tolerance drops fast when you stop, and even a few days off can be enough, so a dose that used to be normal can now stop your breathing. Overdose deaths rise sharply after prison, detox or leaving treatment, and tolerance also falls during a hospital stay. After any break, start with a much smaller amount, try a test dose first, don't use alone, and keep naloxone within reach. Alcohol, benzodiazepines, gabapentinoids and other sedatives make an opioid overdose much more likely.

Typical Opiate Euphoria positive exp #90674

I am fairly used to taking opiates. My opiate -history began when I had an unlimited supply (and paid for by the government) of oxycontin. I was totally oblivious to what opiates were and did not know that oxycontin contained oxycodone, an opiate similar to morphine. I used them because I had lower back pains.

Got a few boxes of OTC Ethylmorphine pills, and this was my first experience with them. Took 50mg at first, after half an hour the effects started, but they were not as intense as I hoped for so I took another 50mg and a beer.

All This Nausea, It's Not Worth It cautionary exp #62287

I've been having a pretty lousy day, and for the first time in a long, long time, I dont have to drive or be in public tomorrow. Life's been harder than usual lately. I've got a bunch of important exams coming up, but have a hard time studying. I might be getting on ritalin soon, as I apparently have adhd.

    Import into PsychonautWiki Journal

The PsychonautWiki Journal app includes Ethylmorphine, but its built-in data can be thinner than ours. Importing this file adds a separate "Ethylmorphine (Substance Search)" custom substance with our dose ranges and durations, so you can log against whichever you prefer. It leaves tolerance out on purpose, for the reason given under Tolerance above.

⬇ Download import file Import this file as custom substances and you get "Ethylmorphine (Substance Search)" with every route's full dose ladder and timeline, no typing. Works on iOS and Android (v15+); the format is confirmed by the app's developer.

Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
