I finally felt brave enough to build to a DPT breakthrough. I didn't want to start out with a huge dose, so I decided the best course of action would be to trip multiple times, increasing the dose with each consequent trip. The following took part over the course of a month more or less.

N,N-Dipropyltryptamine (also known as Dipropyltryptamine, DPT, and "The Light") is a lesser-known psychedelic substance of the tryptamine class. It is closely related to DMT and is reported to be uniquely similar in its hallucinogenic intensity, albeit with a moderately longer duration and greater unpredictability relative to DMT and other psychedelic tryptamines.

This was an amazing experience. This compound is something to be respected and used responsibly; it CAN be beautiful, it CAN be life changing, it CAN be eye-opening.
DPT has was an incredible trip for me, truly life changing and fulfulling. It's been called Dr. Pepper, due to its strikingly similar appearence to coke and the fact that one of the best methods of ingesting is insufflation. However, I have to describe its selflessness a polar opposite from cocaine's 'ego inflation'.

Note to Erowid: I submitted this a while ago and it never got posted. Glitch? Maybe you didn't think this was actually by the same author as Important, Unpleasant Trip. Well, it is. I've revised this a bit since I submitted it the first time, adding a postscript and a little more detail.
Yesterday I heard by chance of a small gathering of friends. When I arrived, I found to my delight that there would be party favors: there were good quantities of DPT, 5-MeO-DiPT, and 2C-I on hand. Having already had one invaluable experience with DPT, I felt I owed it to myself to try it again.
PART 1: The First Meeting This is a three part summery of my three full dose DPT experiences. I find this tryptamine most intriguing in that it consistently produces an intense fear reaction every time I take it. In spite of that, I have never had a 'bad trip' on DPT, or any psychedelic for that matter.
I had my first and so far sole experience with DPT around 8 months back. I was initially somewhat traumatized, but I believe I've since learned the meaning of the experience and come to terms with whatever it was.

DPT - Whooa! This is from several weeks back. DPT - Second attempt. The first was a 35mg low grade trip that was still interesting but a tease - LSD lite but with many new possibilities. It had a certain intensity. The speed of the trip is to its advantage as you can arrange 4 hours of peace easier than a whole day.
Dpt 32mgs I had some time to myself to go on a DPT journey this night, so I wanted to take advantage of this somewhat rare opportunity. However, I had to keep it low key and go off by myself as I didn't want people in the house (generally) to know that I was tripping or for them to wake up.
