    Tolerance

Build-up develops rapidly within days; meprobamate metabolite contributes to dependence
Reset Falls after you stop, at a rate that varies from person to person. If you've been using regularly, cut down gradually with medical help rather than stopping suddenly.

No tolerance chart. Our decay curves for these drugs were estimates, and a curve can make tolerance look longer-lasting than it is, which is the dangerous direction.

How fast tolerance to these drugs fades after a break has not been measured well enough to draw, so don't count on a dose you used to take still being safe: after time off, start with a much smaller amount and don't use alone. Mixing sedatives with each other, with alcohol or with opioids sharply raises the risk of a fatal overdose. If you've been using regularly, don't stop suddenly: withdrawal from benzodiazepines, alcohol or GHB/GBL can cause seizures or delirium, so get medical help to cut down gradually.

    Effects Erowid Bluelight

Aggregated from 30 single-substance Erowid and 15 Bluelight experience reports; 27 Erowid reports where another drug was taken too are left out

Each bar shows the share of analyzed reports whose text mentions that effect — a mention is not always a first-hand experience (fear of an effect or something witnessed can count). Mentions saying the effect did not happen are left out; that check reads keywords, so it can miss some. The shaded band on a bar, and the small range after its number, is the 95% interval: where the share could plausibly be with other reports of the same kind. Fewer reports, wider band. Tap or hover any number for details. The second value is the Bluelight extractor's per-effect confidence; a dash means the row is Erowid-derived, which has no confidence measurement.

Rows resting on fewer than 20 reports show a count (“3 of 7”) instead of a bar. Why 20?

Also reported in combinations. In the 27 Carisoprodol reports where another drug was taken too, 6 (22.2%) mention hospital, emergency services or an overdose, 2 (7.4%) a seizure and 0 (0.0%) psychosis. In the 30 single-substance reports: 30.0%, 10.0% and 0.0%. These are not in the figures above: they cannot be put down to Carisoprodol alone, and a mention is not always something that happened to the writer.

I started taking painkillers and opiates about 9 months ago. I was in a car accident and got facial reconstruction and severe back problems. I was prescribed lots of opiates and really enjoyed them. Opiates are really nice but the dose to take gets increasingly high for a good feeling.

Hello, this is my report of my first experience with the muscle relaxant/sedative carisoprodol, soma, and how it led to my month and a half long psychological dependency/addiction. It all stated one night in February 2006. My four friends and I return from a night at the park. 9:00 P.M.

I am a 22 year old male who has done nearly every drug under the sun (except crack and heroin). I couldn't even list all the drugs I've got under my belt because I wouldn't be able to remember them and it would make for an extremely long list (easilly 40+ substances).

Soma is a crazy, highly addictive drug for me. It’s almost killed me three different times and I still want to take it. Here is a detailing of the first time I overdosed on soma – this is the only time I overdosed that I have much of a memory of. First off, I need to say that Soma causes me to black out NOT pass out.

The following is a description of possibly the stupidest most careless thing I've ever done. 8:30 Ingest 2 Somas. I chewed them up, it's the worst tasting pill I've ever encountered. 9:30 Not feeling anything from the first 2 pills so I eat one more. 9:40 Getting frustrated so I eat 3 more.

6th July, 2012 (New Financial Year, Day 6) 18.9 grams (15 caps, 3.9 stems) plus 10.7 grams (stuff at bottom of evaporator, mostly stems) = not enough. Soma First Time Soma Is Nice neutral

Just got my hands on some Pain-O-Soma. %) I love diazepam, temazepam and GHB. I've always been interested in old-school sedatives and I've been wanting to try carisoprodol for a while because it's a pro-drug to meprobamate. I took 700mg on an empty stomach earlier while I was waiting for my dinner.

So a couple of months ago I ordered some Soma online. It wasn't the first time I had done this, so it was no big deal. The first time I tried it I took 3 or 4 of the 350mg pills.

The PsychonautWiki Journal app includes Carisoprodol, but its built-in data can be thinner than ours. Importing this file adds a separate "Carisoprodol (Substance Search)" custom substance with our dose ranges and durations, so you can log against whichever you prefer. It leaves tolerance out on purpose, for the reason given under Tolerance above.

⬇ Download import file Import this file as custom substances and you get "Carisoprodol (Substance Search)" with every route's full dose ladder and timeline, no typing. Works on iOS and Android (v15+); the format is confirmed by the app's developer.
