5-MeO-DMT is an extremely potent, fast-acting psychedelic tryptamine known for producing intense mystical experiences with minimal visual effects. Unlike N,N-DMT, 5-MeO-DMT is approximately 4-20 times more potent and carries greater safety concerns, including several documented fatalities. It preferentially activates 5-HT1A receptors over 5-HT2A receptors, making it an atypical psychedelic.

As I pause to reflect on what I experienced nearly 30 hours ago, the most profound moments of my life, I am filled with utter disbelief. My first true experience with 5-meo-dmt was nothing short of amazing, although such a word is painfully lacking.
This was my first experience with any form of DMT. I did very little research prior to embarking on this journey to inner space, therefore I had little idea what to expect. IΒve had numerous psychedelic experiences in the past 40 years, but none in the last 10. None have prepared me for what 5MeODMT had to offer.
I have had several attempts before this to breakthrough on 5-MeO-DMT. I now believe that I was approaching the experience in an entirely ineffective way. Set and setting is extremely important with any psychedelic, but it is absolutely necessary to prepare correctly for a drug with this power.
