Summary
4-Benzylpiperidine (4-PMPD) is a piperidine-based stimulant. It acts mainly as a monoamine releasing agent, with in vitro release assays showing EC50 values of approximately 41 nM for norepinephrine and 109 nM for dopamine and over 40-fold lower efficacy at SERT; weak MAO-A inhibition appears at approximately 130 ฮผM, relevant only at very high doses. An oral threshold of 25-50 mg produces mild wakefulness, while the common range of 75-200 mg yields pronounced alertness, pupil dilation, and appetite suppression.

The PsychonautWiki Journal logging app doesn't include every substance. To track 4-Benzylpiperidine there, start adding an ingestion, search for the name, and choose to add it as a custom substance. Paste these values:

Start low, go slow, and test your substances.
Tip: for quicker logging you can also add a Custom Unit in the app, e.g. common dose ~ 162.5 mg (Oral / Sublingual).
The app keeps custom substances simple, so the full dose ranges live in the description text above. Ranges are harm-reduction guidance, not a prescription.
