Summary
25I-NBOH (Cimbi-27, also known as NBOH-2C-I) is a psychedelic phenethylamine and research chemical, belonging to the hallucinogen class. It is approximately 2-3 times less potent than 25I-NBOMe but significantly more potent than 2C-I. It is not orally active and must be administered sublingually or buccally. Extreme vasoconstriction and cardiovascular strain have been reported at higher doses.
Perspectives
“I can't really see any permanent psychedelic therapy uses for this one, as while it does fill the user with beautiful colorful empathy while it lasts, it eventually fades to the exact same state as before. Afterglow as negligible. That might just be me though. I can say though, it had the most beautiful and intense visuals of any trip.”

Effect Profile
4 reportsScores (0–10) curated from multiple sources:
- Effect keyword matching from PsychonautWiki catalog
- Weighted by importance: core (×3), major (×2), minor (×1)
Strong visuals, auditory effects, and headspace with strong body load
Moderate euphoria with strong anxiety/jitters, mild stimulation and focus
Tolerance
Tolerance Decay
Rapid within-session tolerance typical of serotonergic psychedelics; redosing adds side effects with limited benefit. Return to baseline generally reported within 1β3 weeks.

Effects
Aggregated from 4 single-substance Erowid experience reports; 8 Erowid reports where another drug was taken too are left out
Each bar shows the share of analyzed reports whose text mentions that effect — a mention is not always a first-hand experience (fear of an effect or something witnessed can count). Mentions saying the effect did not happen are left out; that check reads keywords, so it can miss some. The shaded band on a bar, and the small range after its number, is the 95% interval: where the share could plausibly be with other reports of the same kind. Fewer reports, wider band. Tap or hover any number for details. The second value is the Bluelight extractor's per-effect confidence; a dash means the row is Erowid-derived, which has no confidence measurement.
Too few reports for bars: these effects come from 4 single-substance Erowid reports, and a bar is drawn only from 20 reports or more. With fewer, a percentage cannot tell a common effect from a rare one. Counts are shown instead. Why 20?

Also reported in combinations. In the 8 25I-NBOH reports where another drug was taken too, 2 mention hospital, emergency services or an overdose, 0 a seizure and 0 psychosis (too few reports for percentages). In the 4 single-substance reports: 0, 0 and 0. These are not in the figures above: they cannot be put down to 25I-NBOH alone, and a mention is not always something that happened to the writer.

In the summer of 2014, the guy I was dating at the time managed to acquire a (in my opinion) ridiculous amount of NBOH 25i. During this time, I bore witness to a whole range of different reactions from friends and anyone he would sell to, as well as experimenting heavily myself.
Background: I have little experience with psychedelics. Took shrooms/truffles 6 times since july 2015. And once LSD about 2 weeks ago. A few experiences with 2cb and one with 2cp sum this all up. So I know my deal with phens and tryptamines.
Dose: 250ug 25i-NBOH, sublingual Setting: Alone in my room, calm. Slow to come on, about 1 hour of anticipation. T+1 A certain dizziness/vertigo emerges. Vision is blurred. I feel sleepy. T+1:30 Altered edge perception and some colour enhancement. Definite shimmering. Potential visuals in the periphery.
Wonderful First Experience This is my first trip report, so I apologize for the possible lack of depth. I am 22 years old, I have a very large background in psychedelic drug usage among many other substances. I obtained the 25I-NBOH through a trusted vendor earlier in the week.
25I-NBOH Test Trial 1 The first entry is written verbatim as I experienced the drug. The second is a timeline describing the effects. 2 grams of B+ strain Psilocybin mushrooms were consumed 24 hrs before. This shouldn't affect the trip, because psilo is metabolized rather quickly from my understanding.
Essentially I made a 25I-NBOH solution which should have turned out to be 1mg per ml, 22ml in total. I attempted the method you just squirt the known amount in your mouth and for me this would have been 1mg then leave it there for awhile and be done with it.
