Summary
Fentanyl (also known as Fentanil and by the brand names Sublimaze, Actiq, Durogesic, Duragesic, Fentora, Matrifen, Haldid, Onsolis, Instanyl, Abstral, Lazanda among others) is a potent opioid substance of the anilidopiperidine class. It is a strong agonist at the μ-opioid receptors and approximately 40 to 50 times more potent than pharmaceutical grade (i.e. 100% pure) heroin and roughly 80 to 100 times more potent than morphine.

No tolerance chart. Our decay curves for opioids were estimates, and a curve can make tolerance look longer-lasting than it is, which is the dangerous direction.
Opioid tolerance drops fast when you stop, and even a few days off can be enough, so a dose that used to be normal can now stop your breathing. Overdose deaths rise sharply after prison, detox or leaving treatment, and tolerance also falls during a hospital stay. After any break, start with a much smaller amount, try a test dose first, don't use alone, and keep naloxone within reach. Alcohol, benzodiazepines, gabapentinoids and other sedatives make an opioid overdose much more likely.

This report would be much more useful to those with a considerably low tolerance to opiates. The first time I tried a Fentanyl Lollipop I liked it very much. My friend sold me the 800mcg kind, and I must say it tasted pretty good.
All the reports I've read here about fentanyl seem pretty negative or not very positive, so I'd like to share my experience with this drug. I got the gel patches for free a few months ago, 4 patches to be exact. I decided to be stupid and eat the gel inside.
So I was looking on the vault for some info on fentanyl which seems very hard to find anyway and saw that there were not a lot of experiences and I wanted to contribute mine. But I think a tiny history is necessary. First I have tried may drugs. Weed, shrooms, acid (once and like ½ a dose), just to name a few.
Date: '06 1 31 Substance: Fentanyl Citrate 100mcg / 2 mL (50mcg/mL) I have obtained a tiny ampule of fentanyl made by Abbott Labs. I paid ten dollars for it - a very good price. Sadly I did not get a sterile syringe so I must use the drug in a different way. But first let me describe myself and my background.
Background: I have experience with many drugs, but for the purposes of this experience report, Ill limit the discussion strictly to the opiates and other painkillers. Ive tried codeine, morphine, oxycodone, tramadol, hydrocodone, opium, and heroin.

My life is quite different from what it was only two years ago. Being a full time student and still working thirty hours a week consumes most of my time.
I should begin this story with a bit of background. I am now 20, was 19 when this trip happened and am fairly experienced with opiates (all pharmaceutical, not H). I am 175-180 pounds, 6'1 athletic and in good shape. My tolerance is about 30 mg Oxy to get me off, 100 morphine for solid nod.
I was given a Fentanyl transdermal patch. The patch was square, tan on one side, metallic and shiny on the other side. I seem to recall the packaging saying "Teva." The patch is designed to deliver 25mcg per hour for 72 hours. A somewhat low dose, but I don't fool around with Fentanyl at all.
9:00 pm: I get two 25 ug/hr Duragesic patches and come straight home to my computer to decided on which route I would choose to administer them. After reading a lot of debate and controversy, despite popular belief, I decide to eat the gel of one patch, thats 2.5 mgs of Fentanyl.
I had only heard stories of fentanyl before yesterday. I was going to trade my old high school school friend bud for 8mg morphone pills because it was the weekend and I'd been clean two weeks except for the night before I got 5 pinkish morphine pills. I smoked four and gave one away.

Yes, well. A 25ug/h Durogesic patch became available and naturally an opiate sucker has difficulties staying away. This might not be a complete trip report since I think I still have not experienced a perfect dose but I dont have anything to do now so...
